In this age of nationalism, "serving the country" is synonymous with "serving the public," and national service carries both of these connotations with it. Students can apply what they have learned in the classroom to a more similar setting to the outside world through a strategy known as service-learning, which combines community work with educational activities. According to Edgar Dale's Cone of Knowledge, the most effective methods involve uncomplicated and directed learning opportunities, such as hands-on or outdoor activities. This subject emphasizes the significance of learning via experience in the students' lives. The most effective approach to learning about an event is participating in hands-on activities.

Many nations have released studies on the impact of service learning. Training improves cognitive reasoning through problem-solving, decision-making, and interpretation. Research shows that service learning can boost success in alternative schools and other schools. Gestalt philosophy, which advocates learning as knowledge and experience as a medium, might help with this. Service-learning affects students' academic, civic, and social lives.

The service-learning group outperformed the control group on all academic metrics. The only statistically meaningful differences were between the Service Learning Network and the Service Knowledge Network (n.d.), indicating that service-learning students were more cognitively engaged and inspired to learn. According to Furco's (2002) study, service-learning fared well on all academic indicators. 

Philippine colleges teach NSTP 2. Everyone in the first year took this topic; it was a law. The class seemed uninspiring at the start. My initial guess was wrong when class started. Because the course wasn't dull, this helped us be better individuals. This subject raises our consciousness. Think about our country's problems. We're more aware of our surroundings. It makes us think of everything. Consider the usual political subjects in the news.

The National Training program 2 has given me many learning experiences and memories. This subject makes me attentive. Being attentive enables you to avoid danger. This element teaches me a lot. I'm looking for a new semester project. I noticed that NSTP opened our eyes to our country's poor issues. I learned the value of helping a family satisfy their requirements. I am blessed to attend a good school. I recognized the benefits I have right now and how blessed I am. Even if their circumstances aren't perfect and they experience hardships often, the families in that community remain pleasant and resilient. The National Service Training Program, also known as NSTP, is beneficial to me as a student because it allows me to acquire different values, all of which will assist me in developing further as an individual concerning my culture. Students learn self-control and efficiency thanks to the instruction provided by this program, which is one reason why it is valuable. Courses offered by NSTP are known for their high level of instructional efficacy in self-improvement, success, and group involvement. The primary objective of the NSTP law is to safeguard the contribution of young people to the process of nation-building. It inspires young people to devote their time and leadership roles to political or military organizations.
